Five Second Rule

When you present your reports you have five seconds to get your audience on board or they will decide what the report shows. With that in mind it is important to be aware of what is being shown and make sure that there is no room for ambiguity. Clarity is king (or Queen)!

If a report you have developed needs to be explained in more than 5 seconds you have only made a rod for your own back, remember you will never be the only person presenting a report so if it isn’t clear exactly what is being presented someone else will explain what they see.
