Food Hygiene – It all just flows

The last step that we will cover in this series is to use Power BI Dataflows to import and store the Curated data. At this point, we are transitioning into a more Enterprise Data mindset. Tables of data are imported and processed to a defined standard. Data is then considered Curated and can then be used by multiple data models and their downstream reports. You may not want to have all of that for Food Hygiene data, but the idea of a global Sales Table for a retail business or a Global Order Book for a manufacturer is a different thing.

This video looks at the simple migration path to Dataflows and looks at how we would directly connect to the data using Dataflows. Both approaches are valid, and the only consideration would be around the total amount of needed data.
