Data comes in all shapes and sizes, as long as your data is working for you that’s all that matters! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
Power BI uses Tabular data models, a skill you will have to learn if you’re going to progress in Power BI is to recognise what you need to do to take data from a source system (or even systems) and deliver it into an optimised format for Tabular consumption.
