There can be a gap between what a developer sees and what the audience sees. Combine that with the open-ended nature of Power BI, and sometimes it can be nice to just explore your data. In this video, we look at the New York Taxi data and explore how that naturally shapes the development of the data model.
During preparation for this video, it became clear that I have made assumptions. Remember, to never Assume as I was always taught assume is a “u”, a “me” and an “ass”. For that reason, I have tried to turn down the technical components and instead look at how to direct the next steps of a data model. Even if you’re not going to develop Power BI yourself being able to see how the platform can be used to grow your objectives is vital.
