We’re going to look at Dashboards this week, they’re a core part of the Power BI Service, but are something that there is not really enough information about. At their simplest level Dashboards in Power BI are Menus, they allow a tile to be used to direct the audience to a Report (these reports can be from different datasets. The way that the tile can contain information from the target report (or another report or image etc…) is what gives them their power. It is possible to surface your top tier figures to your dashboards and then use them to direct people to more report content.
