An introduction to our latest data project, this time looking at the inspections data for Rooftop water tanks in New York City. This is a completely left-field data set, but it’s important to build up an appreciation that fundamentally data is data. While there can be benefits to knowing more deeply what is actually going on within a process, often the results of that process can give you a great start in piecing something together. With no deeper knowledge but a good level head we should be able to get to the point where we can really explore the data and hopefully even bring some insights to people who work with the data day in day out.
